Accelovance Welcomes Robert W. Malone MD, MS as Scientific Advisor

Accelovance announced today the appointment of Robert W. Malone MD, MS to the company’s Scientific Advisory Board. He joins other distinguished industry experts collectively working to better serve Accelovance clients through their strategic thinking and depth of knowledge. Dr. Malone has extensive experience in cell based vaccines, biodefense, gene delivery and transfer, immunology, tissue and cell culture, and DNA vaccination in both the commercial and government market sectors.

Dr. Malone received his BS in Biochemistry from UC Davis (1984), MS in biology from UCSD (1988) and his MD from Northwestern University Medical School (1991). Dr. Malone’s background includes over 20 years of experience in academia and industry, including both founding and working with a wide range of Pharmaceutical and Biotech companies as either an employee or as a consultant. He has experience in Federal contracting, working with NGO’s in health related research and development as well as relationships with CDC, DOD and HHS. Dr. Malone is involved with 15 issued patents, has numerous publications and 2 book chapters in this field.
